Which BW books should I buy?
« on: July 01, 2008, 17:11:42 pm »
Not sure if this is the right place to post this question.

I have secrets of the BW, and BW for toddlers  - but I think there are some other books that are good.

I have a 16 week old and am struggling with EASY and erratic night wakings etc - which book/s should I buy?
The BW solves all your problems?

Are there any others that you suggest?

I have the BW Solves All your Problems...i haven't read the 'regular' BW book.  I just didn't know about it at the time.
I believe BWSAYP isn't as comprehensive as the 'regular' book, but does have some other things to offer (a bit of toddler hood etc).

I also have the BW Toddler book and found it helpful.

Some others might have some suggestions for you of good books that aren't Bw.......

hope this helps!

secrets is like the foundation for babywhispering - understanding how it all works, the bones etc and guidelines
BWSAYP is the troubleshooter - where you can look up what your issues are and find guidance. it is a way to have Tracy help everyone as if she was there giving you a consult.  if you look up an issue there will usually be a section devoted to it and questions to ask yourself to see root causes etc.  Personally i think everyone shoudl have both Secrets and BWSAYP as they are complimentary (if someone has an angel or textbook i think they can get away with just secrets as these kids usually follow the "norm" and there is a ton of info in that book, whereas other types deviate from the averages and leave parents stumped and that is where BWSAYP comes in to help you figure out how to adapt BW/EASY to YOUR child).

so you can re-read Secrets and see if there is anything you missed, post on the NW board and get some help and/or you can get BWSAYP and try to see if Tracy has the answer to your particular issues in there.
