My DD is 8mo and I still haven't found a nursing bra I really love.  I'm a 34F, so it's hard to find a bra that has enough support but isn't too big in the band.  Anyone have any bras that they really love?  I bought a victoria's secret bra and converted it myself to a nursing bra, but it's just a tad too small (they don't sell my cup size, so I had to go one size down) and I'm prone to clogged ducts.  I'd love something that has a lot of support, is super comfortable and doesn't make me look like my grandma.  Any suggestions?

I have hard time finding bras too because I am large chested, but not huge around. I can't get bras (nursing or regular) at a normal store. I have to go to a specialty bras shop and be fitted. I suggest you go there. Also, search around for maternity or baby stores that do nursing bra fittings. I went to my specialty bra shop and a baby store shop that does nursing bras. I was fitted and found one bra that I could wear (out of about 15!). And, even the bra that worked had to be altered!

I'm a 34F also and I love the Medela underwire:  http://www.birthandbaby.com/shop/categories/52

I order from the shop to which I linked.  They are really great.  Their site has guidelines for measuring and if you're unsure about sizing, you can call and several of the staff members are lactation consultants and they just have really great perspective.  It looks like the bra was discontinued (aaack! that would be a night mare as I LOVE this bra and will be needing more for baby #3), but will be available again in January.

The other great thing about that shop is that they only charge a dollar for shipping and are fab about returns, so you can order a bunch of bras, try them, and return what you don't want (they actually encourage this!).  I promise, I'm not affiliated with them, lol, I just feel your pain on the impossibility of finding a nursing bra in my size and they've been very, very helpful.

I'm wearing a 40-I while I nurse and I have had good luck with Anita nursing bras, which I think are from Germany. Agree with PP that a specialty bra/masectomy/nursing boutique is probably your best bet for finding large sized bras. I have also worn Bravado (a more unstructured style, better for when my supply was high and if I experience any engorgement). I have one underwire bra, but wear it for special occasions (think it is also Anita, in black) only to reduce the risk of clogged ducts. I tried the Medela bras but the largest size was a G and not quite the best fit for me.

I am up to a G from a DD before I got pregnant... yikes. Anyway, I love the Bravado sports type nursing bra. It was expensive... around $60 Canadian (I forget exactly how much). However, I wear it way more often than any others I have and totally recommend it. So comfy and supportive! I also have a few from the Motherhood Maternity website that are alright for underwire, but the padded one (I know... when you area size G do you really need padding?Huh) looks awesome but is not comfortable at all. I wear it on special occaisions when I need my chest to look good and can endure a little shoulder discomfort, LOL.
